The Puerto Rico Air National Guard (PRANG) intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract to Demolish and dispose an underground diesel tank at the 141st Punta Borinquen Installation located in Aguadilla PR. The scope consists of all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to accomplish the work.
The primary purpose of the project consists in the demolition of Punta Borinquen Fuel Service station to include removal and disposition of existing underground storage tanks, furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, appliances, materials and performing all operations in strict accordance with the specifications and the applicable drawings, and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. The work considers detailing UST tank removal procedures including the removal of residual product, soil excavation, purging of volatile vapors, field screening criteria, sample collection, and soil disposal, following the “Guía de Cierre Permanente para Sistemas de Tanques de Almacenamiento Soterrados” from the Department of Natural and Environmental Resources (formerly Junta de Calidad Ambiental).. Place of performance is at Punta Borinquen Installation, Aguadilla PR. Magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Construction/contract completion time is 180 calendar days after notice to proceed to include inspection and punch list. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 238910 with a size standard of $16.5 million. This is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The date for the site visit conference is on 30 July 2021 at 09:30 AM. This site visit will start in front of the Main Gate), Punta Borinquen Air National Guard Base, Aguadilla PR.

The proposals will be submitted electronically, and bid opening tentatively take place on 8 Sept 2021 at 10:00am. Remember to submit your Bid Bonds, and Performance Bonds along with your bid. This IFB is subject to the availability of funds.
