Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Weston Wellhouse and Transmission Line Project will include the construction of a CMU well house near the existing booster station at approximately mile marker 120 along Weston Canyon Road. The wellhouse will be equipped with a submersible well, a flow meter, a liquid chlorinator, a pump to waste valve, and all other electrical and mechanical components necessary. A new transmission line will also be built to convey the well water to the Weston City tank site. The pipe will be 6” C-900 and is approximately 1.1 miles long. It will be built within the ITD ROW. It will require one bore and jacking under the HWY. In connection with the new wellhouse, an existing generator owned by Weston City will be relocated to this site and connected to the system to provide back up power. Additionally, an automated chlorine sampler will be added at the lower booster station.
