Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Removal - The vendor will remove the existing RTU’s in Table 1 below and immediately replace (same day) the existing unit with a new unit as shown in Table 2 – New Unit Schedule. The vendor will be responsible for removal and disposal of all existing units in accordance with any applicable federal, state or local regulations. The awarded vendor shall document the existing tag/model/serial #, electrical data and location of each unit prior to the commencement of work. B. R22 Reclamation – MISD would like the opportunity to reclaim and recycle all R22 refrigerant from the existing units prior to removal. The awarded vendor will work with MISD on the logistics of this operation. C. Parts Reclamation – Prior to the removal of the existing units, MISD will have access to remove any useful parts that may be compatible with other existing units that will remain in service.
