Specifications include, but are not limited to: Printing of Volumes of Law General Description: After the conclusion of the 2021 Legislative Session, the ND Volumes of Law (the “Volumes”) are printed and bound for distribution to State offices and others. The ND Secretary of State is responsible for the assuring the accurate and timely distribution of the Volumes. Typically, the Volumes are two case-bound books (sets) with approximately 1000 pages in each. The actual number of pages per book will be determined after final artwork is created. Successful bidder is responsible for printing, binding and distribution as described herein. Quantities: Total number of 2 volume sets to be printed and bound is 340 sets. Artwork: Information and pdf files anticipated to be complete in June 2021. Final production pdf will be provided by State. Each volume will be a separate pdf file. Sample: Bidders may request a sample of the 2019 pdf for informational purposes only in preparing a bid response. Contact the Procurement Officer on cover page of this IFB to request a sample. Proof: Composite, laser proof is required. Text Pages: Number of Pages: Each book contains approximately one thousand (1000) inside pages for a two-book total of two thousand (2000) inside pages of text. The exact number of pages of text will not be known until layout and information is complete which shall not occur until after the 2021 Legislative Session ends. Finished Page Size: 6” x 8-7/8” Paper Stock: 40# opaque offset, white. Ink: Text to print 1/1, black ink, two sides. Binding: Case-bound, with Smyth Sewn signatures.
