Specifications include, but are not limited to: Establish a facility to collect HHW within the City of Billings, to be operated during regular landfill hours of operation. Provide all equipment, staffing, and supplies necessary for those portions of the collection site used for collection, handling, packaging and transportation of waste, including safety equipment. Be directly responsible for documenting all material brought into the collection site; segregating hazardous, non-hazardous and recyclable materials; properly packaging for transportation all hazardous wastes; preparing container content sheets, manifests, notifications, certifications and other shipping documents; provide transportation and disposal or destruction of all collected hazardous waste; and provide documentation of the final destination and status of all disposed hazardous waste.
