Specifications include, but are not limited to: ❖The quantity requested will be split into multiple deliveriesand shipped as requested by the Water Divisionpersonnel. A shipment request by telephone or email will be made a minimum of five(5) working days prior to the actual required delivery date.❖Please indicate who should be contacted and phone numberfor delivery and pick-up of cylinders:_________________________________________________________________________❖The supplier will be required to pick up empty cylinders; the full ones are delivered at no additional charges to the City.❖Upon delivery of cylinders, the supplier must have the means to unload the cylinders.❖The supplier will pick up empty cylinders, either by a supplier owned truck or third party carrier. The City will not pay for third party carriers.❖Demurrage fees will not be implemented until 120 days. Demurrage fees will not be charged if trucks are not sent for empties within a reasonable time.❖In case of an emergency, the current supplier will be required to deliver as many as six (6) cylinders within twelve (12) hours’ notice.❖Should you not comply with the above requirements, may result in termination of contract.
