Specifications include, but are not limited to: interior renovation and/or addition to the Bozeman Public Library to meet the needs of a growing community. A general description of areas that may be addressed with stakeholder and community input are as follows: • Interior re-imagining/reconfiguring of the 52,000 square foot building to create spaces conducive to realizing the Library’s vision to be the community cultural center that connects all Bozeman citizens to their neighbors and the world. • Need for larger/more meeting spaces • Addition of enclosed structure to house the bookmobile • Focus on building efficiency, including sustainable maintenance and operations • Analysis of options for building expansion • Consideration of design elements within the existing facility that will compliment a future west side branch.
