Construction of a new 720 student H.O.Brittingham Elementary School and demolition of existing school building (located on current property) 3. Construction of a new 720 student Rehoboth Elementary School and demolition of existing school buildings (located on current property) 4. Construction, renovation, demolition and new additions for existing Milton Elementary School, 720 student size (located on current property) 5. Construction, renovation, demolition and new additions for existing Lewes School building to be used as a 720 student Shields Elementary School. Demolition of existing Shields school building (located on existing Lewes School property) III. Scope of Services Cape Henlopen School District has been approved to purchase land and construct a new approximately 66,000 sq. ft Sussex Consortium School. Pending a successful local funding referendum prior to October 1, 2016, the district will also be proceeding with the planning and construction of the following: a new 720 student H.O.Brittingham Elementary School, a new 720 student Rehoboth Elementary School, a 720 student renovated and expanded Milton Elementary School, and a 720 student renovated and expanded Shields Elementary School to be located in the Lewes School building.
