Specifications include, but are not limited to:. A. Main building which includes the basement (IBL), first floor (IBL and EMSP), and second floor northeast end (EMSP). Also included are: i. EMSP upstairs breakroom and EMSP downstairs hallway ii. Stairwells in the southwest end and middle of the building, but not the northeast end; and iii. Restrooms in the building, except for those on the second floor. b. Shop building (IBL) which includes one (1) restroom. 2. Ensure staff have an awareness of safety and security due to the laboratory spaces, follow Department pandemic/epidemic safety guidelines, and that procedural safeguards are followed regarding Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Standards and the Hazard Communication Standard: Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Complete the required tasks (except for semi-annual (Section VI) and annual (Section VII) services) between the hours of 6:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time Monday through Friday. (Department’s preference is for cleaning to start no later than 7:00 a.m and vacuuming in the work areas to be completed by 8:00 a.m. for the least disturbance to Department staff.) Exceptions must be approved by mutual agreement between the Contractor and the Department’s Contract Monitor in advance. a. The Contractor must provide a task schedule designed for the IBL and EMSP which will be mutually agreed upon between the Contractor and the Department’s Contract Monitor and or Contract Manager.. 1. Empty and clean all wastepaper and recycle baskets, replace liners as needed, empty and clean any outside ashtrays, and break down and remove/recycle empty boxes. Emptying wastepaper and recycling baskets must include the following: a. Separating and placing the trash items into the blue trash bin outside the main building. b. Separating and placing the recyclable items into the green recycling bin outside the main building. 2. Check and fill all paper towel, soap dispensers, hand sanitizer dispensers, toilet paper dispensers and toilet seat liners. Replace batteries as needed in dispensers (batteries supplied by the Department). (Note: This includes dispensers in the laboratory rooms and hallways, as well as the break rooms and bathrooms.) 3. Clean and sanitize the surface areas of all water fountains. 4. Clean and sanitize all restrooms including the outside shop restroom. The Contractor must: a. Ensure all urinals, toilets, partitions, walls, sinks, baseboards, and counters are free from any signs of dirt, grime, residue, or any foreign matter.
