Specifications include, but are not limited to: The renovated second-floor laboratories will also contain a considerably higher density of fume hoods than currently exists, which are essential for synthetic chemistry research, as well as necessary bench space and chemical storage facilities. Both floors will contain shared instrumentation laboratories. Renovation of the non-laboratory (i.e., office and conference/meeting) spaces on the two floors will be addressed to the extent that the project budget permits. The project will also replace four existing HVAC units in the '72 Wing basement and provide a completely re-designed and renovated HVAC system to provide adequate service to the ground, first, and second floors. REQUIREMENTS OF RESPONSE: Sealed Proposals for Part 1A–Base, Part 1B–Alternates and Part 2–Proposer’s Qualifications and Part 3 HUB Subcontracting Plan will be received according to the time and date set forth in the proposal document. After evaluation of Part 3, Part 1 will be publicly opened and the names of the proposers and the monetary and time proposals read aloud. After receiving all parts of the Proposals, the Owner will evaluate and rank each Proposal submitted in relation to the published selection criteria. The Owner will select the Proposal that offers the best value to The Texas A&M University System based on the published selection criteria and on the ranking evaluation.
