Specifications include, but are not limited to: North Dakota State Procurement Office is soliciting courier services to service the entire state, every Monday through Friday, except for government holidays. Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in courier services within the state of North Dakota. Courier must be able to pick up packages/specimens at all sites daily every Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM and provide same day delivery of these packages/specimens to state agencies. For example: Specimens picked up on Monday at all pick points (listed below) must be dropped off at the NDDoH - Laboratory during Monday evening/night so that they are available to the laboratory no later than 7:00 AM the following Tuesday morning. Courier must use the shipper containers furnished by NDDoH. The shipper containers measure 21.5 inches long x 11.5 inches high x 11 inches wide and weigh approximately 15 pounds when full. Courier will leave an empty shipper container at each pick point when picking-up specimens. The courier must have proper training and meet DOT/federal requirements for transport of infectious substances.
