Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of work includes the replacement of the air handler (AHU) at Building 512, including all labor, equipment, and material for complete and operating system. Equipment should be compliant with ASHRAE 90.1-2013. Work is to be conducted while the building is unoccupied, and prior experience working within the secure perimeter of the North Texas State Hospital, Vernon Campus, Maximum Security (Psychiatric) Unit (MSU) is recommended. The basis of design is a Carrier Aero Semi-Custom Central Station Indoor Air Handler, 39MN, Size 30 W, delivering 15,000 CFM with 40 tons of capacity. Unit has R-13 insulated double wall construction, copper coils, aluminum fins, and sloped stainless steel drip pan. Voltage selected is 208/3/60.
