Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of San Antonio’s Public Works Department is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Testing, Adjusting and Balancing (TAB) of HVAC systems services on an on-call or as-needed basis. One firm will be awarded in response to this RFCSP and shall be retained in a stand-by mode. Typical work to be performed will consist of HVAC TAB on new or existing municipal facility equipment and may range in scale from strategic planning of systems, evaluation of design data, examining design data description, evaluation of systems for environmental conditions, evaluation for systems output, examination of contract documents for project requirements, testing, balancing, inspection of equipment, reporting and system recommendations, documentation, and step by step procedural write-up. Awarded Respondent shall self-perform the majority of the work. This contract will not include professional services required by a licensed architect or engineer.
