Reports to GLS Project Director Required Skills and Education Bachelor’s degree or higher in health, education or related field Minimum of five years’ experience coordinating trainings/program/projects Experience managing complex or demanding activities/projects Demonstrated ability to meet goals and expectations in timely manner Excellent communication, collaboration and attention to detail skills Demonstrated use of technology for written and oral communication Availability to travel when COVID precautions allow Position Description Assist the Project Director to ensure the Garrett Lee Smith State/Tribal Youth Suicide Prevention and Early Intervention Grant standards, performance measures, outcomes, and reporting requirements are met. Work to ensure effective completion of all grant activities in correlation with the federally approved grant timelines. Coordinate all aspects and conduct most day-to-day activities of the Project. Coordinate and consult with SAMHSA-sponsored Technology Transfer Center. Coordinate with subgrantees and Project Advisory Committee (PAC). Collect, compile and record program data for utilization in GLS Project improvement. Schedule and organize trainings and meetings.
