Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent is to contract with one firm for the demolition, roof construction, membrane installation, thru-wall scuppers, downspouts, and any & all other requirements of the plans. This facility is critical to public safety and as such the requirement for functionality 100% of the time is of the highest importance. The contractor shall order his materials and schedule his work in a way that will limit disruption and down time to the facility. The contractor is directed, after the notice of award by the City to order, receive and stage all materials in advance of proceeding with on-site operations. Existing roof is to be inspected and certified before any new work is to be performed. Any issues should be brought to the attention of the Owner at this time. Existing roof drains are to be abandoned in place and capped. Remove existing crickets to make way for the new work. Remove existing downspouts. Construct new low slope pitched roof with membrane material. Construct new thruwall scuppers. Install new conductor heads and downspouts. Construct downspout outfalls.
