Specifications include, but are not limited to: SCOPE Install new crossarms and 3 phase conductor (approximately 2,300 feet of 1/0 triplex and 3 x 3, 200’ of 336 ACSR) and cut over all transformers, capacitors and customers on the existing spacer cable to the energized new 336.4 covered ACSR on wood crossarms. The work involves replacing 6 utility poles and transferring low voltage secondary to new poles or installing new aerial triplex where noted. Work to be performed on Nottingham Road and Hillside Road in Newark, Delaware including any associated work listed on attached drawings. All material will be supplied by the City of Newark. The contractor must pick up any new material and return any salvaged hardware to the City’s Central Stores Warehouse on Phillips Avenue.
