Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Key points planned are to: a. Replace two heat pumps with new to serve the entire 2,800 SF office building. Two interior fan coil units are located in a small 40 SF Mechanical Room (ID #15). This room has a built-up wooden raised floor approx. 13.75” above slab and servers as the plenum return to the two heat pumps. b. A new raised floor will be installed and integrated. New route for new refrigerant lines. c. Replace all supply air diffusers and flexible duct with new. d. Perform ceiling modification as outlined including replacement of all building ceiling tiles with new. closets are excluded. e. Provide all new fiberglass insulation above ceilings( full building) f. Perform door and wall modifications to Mechanical Room (ID 15) 2. All work will be scheduled in advance with the DPS Contract Manager to ensure the affected DPS operations is not impacted. Includes logistics, staging materials, etc. Contractor will submit a work breakdown plans schedule (1st pass through final) for DPS review and approval. Plan to include placement of contractor storage materials, dumpster, portable restrooms, contractor parking, etc. a. There is a possibility a Saturday may be available whereby the driver’s license area will be closed. This leads to a possible work start end of business Friday through 5:00 PM Sunday to fully complete this upgrade. 3. Provide Contract Monitor with all equipment submittals, for approval by DPS as quickly as possible to be able to finalize equipment prior to order. 4. All contractor and subcontractor personnel must complete and pass a criminal background check. 5. Contractor and subcontractors will review and adhere to Covid-19 requirements identified in this document.
