Specifications include, but are not limited to:The University of Houston – Downtown (University) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from MEP Professional Engineering Consulting/Design Firms for a formal selection of professionals for MEP design. The RFQ provides qualified professionals with sufficient information to enable them to prepare and submit a Statement of Qualifications to provide professional MEP Consulting Services for a five year Delivery term of an unknown quantity of projects scopes and requirements.The Consultant shall be qualified to provide the following related services: Jobsite and on-site meeting/visits to confirm or help develop a scope to prepare a proposal and estimated cost. Field verification of existing conditions. Attend pre-construction meetings and all site-visits required with a given project. Manage teams with other consultants as required, (civil and structural). Laboratory plumbing and ventilation design. HVAC evaluation and design. Electrical load, panel and circuit design. Preparation of City of Houston permit review documents, when required. Preparation and submittal of permit and/or construction drawings, when required. Creation of Record Drawing
