Specifications include, but are not limited to:The general Construction Budget range for the project is approximately Project A: $1,100,000 to $1,275,000; and Project B: $150,000 to $176,000. 1.2.3 The project shall be bid with a single base bid that includes the construction costs for both Project A and Project B. Respondents’ base bid will be used in determining the best value. Respondent shall also provide the construction costs associated with Project A and Project B in the Pricing and Delivery Schedule, Section 7, of this RFP. 1.2.4 Project A: Southern Expansion to ARL 11 Building consists of an 8,000 square foot pre-engineered metal building Addition to the south side of existing metal building A11 on the Pickle Research Campus. Work includes earthwork and regrading related to the new foundation and sidewalks; reinforced concrete slab on grade; exterior sidewalks; interior drywall partitions to create Toilet Rooms and Janitor Room; three packaged HVAC units, ductwork, and thermostat controls; electrical service, lighting and power; and revisions to existing domestic water and sanitary sewer service to accommodate new toilet fixtures, water heater, emergency eyewash fixture, service sink, and handwashing sink provided with the expansion. Finishes include sealed concrete, painted drywall, metal and wood doors, and FRP wainscoting at Toilet Rooms and drywall finishes.
