Specifications include, but are not limited to: Preparation At ease and west perimeters, modify/trim existing roof panels. At all perimeters, furnish and install 2x wood blocking to match height of new layers of insulation. Insulation/Recovery Board Into existing metal panels, furnish and install 4.5” thick polystyrene insulation panels (R18). Over the 4.5” polystyrene, furnish and install 1 layer of 1.5” polyisocyanurate insulation (R-10). Over the 1.5” polyisocyanurate, furnish and install 1-layer ½” recovery board (R2). Mechanically fasten all layers into existing metal roof panels with manufacture’s approved fasteners and plates. EPDM Rubber Roof System Apply a 60 mil EPDM rubber roof system fully adhered to the recovery board. Flash All curbs with 60-mil EPDM flashing membrane. All details as per manufacturer specifications. New rubber flashing at all roof pipes and penetrations. Sheet Metal Flashing.
