Specifications include, but are not limited to:. The project area has an approximate foot print of 41,200 SF. • The eastern section of the floor is the Head and Neck Center, (~19,500 SF)which will consist of a phased “Refresh” effort to bring the finishes in line with MD Anderson’s standards. The Business Center, Scope Washing and Audiology rooms will required some rework and renovation to meet spatial and industry standards. • Brain and Spine (~21,700 SF) is the western section of R10. This clinic separates Elevator B and C and a circulation path is desired to connect the two elevators. Major renovations to the Brain and Spine area will include but will not be limited to the following: a new Waiting Room, multiple Workroom renovations, reworking the Support Areas and the Pharmacy area for the new corridor. The entire space will be refreshed similar to Head and Neck. • There are other minor areas on R10 that could present an opportunity for adjustment to the layout, Workroom for Speech and Audiology for example. • There are approximately 50 mixing boxes and associated duct work across the area that have been identified as needing replacement. HVAC coordination during each of phase of the project must be taken into consideration and the associated implications.
