Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Project consists of the construction of an approximately 14,900-square-foot Fire Station, with three (3) apparatus bays, one (1) EMS bay, one (1) display bay, living quarters and associated site work. The building shall be a single-story steel structure with reinforced slab-on-grade concrete foundation. The exterior finish materials shall consist of impact resistant EIFS, masonry, and aluminum and glass storefront windows with some operable panes. Apparatus bays shall consist of CMU wall construction with a metal building frame for the steel structure. EMS bay consists of CMU wall construction with metal roof trusses. Living quarters of fire station consist of metal stud, conventional steel construction framing, and metal roof trusses. Interior living quarters consisting of cold formed metal framed walls and a supporting steel structure. Special systems shall include, but are not limited to: HVAC systems; plumbing; electrical; mechanical services; interior and exterior lighting; fire protection sprinklers; fire alarm systems; security; A/V; data and communications; USDD dispatch system; and emergency power generation systems. Site improvements shall include, but are not limited to: utilities; storm drainage; reinforced concrete sidewalks; heavy duty reinforced concrete driveways; reinforced concrete parking areas; drainage improvements; vehicular warning systems (signs); pedestrian warning system (signs); automatic sliding gates; flagpole; monument sign; site lighting; steel fencing and manual gates; chain link fencing; and landscaping.
