Specifications include, but are not limited to: The improvements consist of furnishing all labor and materials for the Churchman's Crossing Fairplay Station Elevator. This project replaces the stair chair lift with an enclosed exterior elevator at Fairplay Station at Churchman’s Crossing in Newark, DE. The elevator will have its own entrance to the south side of the guard booth. Security cameras will be added to ensure passenger safety. The ground level section of the elevator will tie into the track platform. Upon installation of the elevator, the chair lift will be removed. The owner will coordinate Amtrak protection as needed. The train station will remain in use during construction. The contractor is responsible for all insurance, permits and licensing requirements, and other incidental construction in accordance with the location, notes and details shown on the plans and as directed by the Engineer.
