Specifications include, but are not limited to:Project involves renovations to the 10,200 square foot Thomas D. Clayton Building. Project includes demolition of existing concrete and wood framed floors, all interior walls, roof framing and selective demo-lition of in-filled window openings to be enlarged to their original size. Based on the historical significance of the building, all exterior walls are to remain and will need to be properly braced during construction ac-tivities. Renovations will include infill of an existing crawlspace for the installation of a new concrete floor, new steel columns and roof framing, new light gauge interior walls, new exterior windows, and a new low-slope roofing system. Site improvements are minimal and include new parking spaces close to the main entrance for handicap access. The building will function as an administrative building for several depart-ments and will comply with ADA standard throughout. MEP work includes new sprinkler system, plumbing and fixtures in all toilet rooms, new mechanical RTU, boiler, and control system. New lighting, electrical, and fire alarm system will be installed throughout
