They may be equipped occasionally with other roadside maintenance attachments such as hole augers, post drivers, or brooms. 4.ENGINE:Diesel, four cylinders minimum to produce not less than 85 PTO HP at manufacturers rated speed as stated in the Nebraska and OECD tractor test data for 2020: Shall be equipped with a cold weather starting aid, such as a 110-volt engine block heater.Shall have a dry type air cleaner.Shall have a sound suppressant muffler, if exhaust is vertical, a 90-degree elbow shall be installed at the top to keep water out of the muffler.Engine shall be filled with extended life coolant with protection set to -35 degrees Fahrenheit.Machines shall have an alarm system (lights and/or audio) to warn the operator of high coolant temperature and low oil pressure. Low oil pressure shut down is acceptable if available. 5.TRANSMISSION:Shall be fully synchronized, manual with not less than 16 speeds forward and 16 speeds in reverse: Shall have a wet disc clutch.Shall have power shift within range and full synchronized range shift.Shall have hydraulic, power (not clutching) left hand reverser.Shall have positive locking position.
