Project consists of the design, permitting, furnishing and construction of a ground-mounted solar photovoltaic systems and associated appurtenances. The system shall be designed to maximize the Citys return on investment for this project. The Citys return on investment shall be based on the overall capital costs divided by the estimated 20-year total electrical output (AC) production. 1. The Contractor shall design, furnish, and install the System using Polysilicon Photovoltaic modules and structural mounting hardware that is designed for array installation on racking using either ground penetration or ballasting. 2. The Contractor will trim trees in the area noted and on the project site plans provided as required to provide minimum shading losses. Tree trimming will be limited to the heights noted on the project site plan. 3. The Contractor shall include the design, permitting, supply and installation of fencing. 4. The Contractor shall design, furnish and install at the Utility Building and City Hall a kiosk or a flat panel display with a web-based data acquisition system (DAS). 5. The Contractor shall design, furnish, and install a surveillance camera system on the new perimeter fencing. 6. The Contractor shall design, furnish, and install new LED lights and light poles along the proposed perimeter fencing. 7. Provide all services, materials, equipment and labor (whether specified or not) for constructing the proposed solar facility and related site work specified herein. All systems are to function as intended in every particular, within the prices bid. No additional specifications were given.
