Specifications include, but are not limited to: NDDPI intends to contract with an expert technical assistance provider to work with the state of North Dakota in supporting local special education units, school districts, and schools to develop early warning systems that lead to actionable intervention and support plans. The focus of this technical assistance is training and building personnel capacity at the building, district, special education unit, and state education agency levels. The vendor brings professional experience and expertise that gives them capacity to provide meaningful professional development and coaching. They will facilitate educational teams working together to design, implement, and sustain early warning systems for evidence-based interventions that are contextually responsive and have proven to help students, families, and schools support students getting back on track toward graduation.
