Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Contractor shall provide the following equipment to CHP: Santa Nella PS North Bound AND Santa Nella PS South Bound 1 ADA portable toilet 1 ADA portable toilet B. Contractor shall comply with requirements of the Uniform Federal/State Accessibility Standards in that a wheelchair accessible portable toilet unit be placed on-site at each location. All equipment provided must meet current ADA codes and regulations. C. Servicing shall be performed three (3) times per week. Contractor shall provide date stickers at each cleaning. D. Provide the portable chemical toilets, all necessary chemicals and servicing to ensure they are clean and serviceable. E. Contractor shall keep portable toilets in good, clean, and safe operating condition, including washing all portable toilets inside and out (walls, floors, toilet seats, and ceilings) using Aqua-Kem cleaner or equivalent to ensure proper sanitation. F. The Contractor shall refill each portable toilet to minimum of (10) inches with a mixture of clean water and Aqua-Kem cleaner or equivalent product, with a ratio of chemical to water of 20/80. G. The Contractor must add deodorizing liquid to each portable toilet tank. H. Contractor shall remove and dispose of all debris created during performance of services. I. The Contractor shall pump out the holding tanks and properly dispose of waste in accordance with all Federal, State and local laws, rules and regulations. J. The Contractor shall deliver the waste to a county/city approved landfill in accordance with the state of California, Environmental Health Laws. The Contractor must meet the requirements of the Environmental Health Services Department and County Public Works Department of the county jurisdiction in which the removal and disposal of the waste material from the toilets. K. Contractor shall take all necessary precautions to protect service locations. Any damage caused by Contractor to state equipment, materials, or other priority shall be repaired or by Contractor to the satisfaction of the state at no cost to the state. The State may, at its option, repair any damage and deduct from the Contractor the cost thereof. L. State shall not be liable for any damage incurred to the toilets while placed on State property. If any intentional or unintentional damage should occur to the toilets, it is the Contractor’s responsibility to replace or repair the toilet at no cost to the state. M. A service request requires a response by Contractor within twenty-four (24) hours to the appropriate location. N. All quotations for additional services not covered under this agreement are to be provided to the state at no cost by the Contractor.
