Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Contractor shall have a regular work place of business located within seventy-five miles (75) of the CHP Golden Gate Division Office located at: 1551 Benicia Road, Vallejo, CA 94591. Contractor shall demonstrate adequate facilities, equipment, and personnel to perform general vessel and outboard motor maintenance and repair services. Contractor's regular place of business shall be available for inspection by the CHP.B. Contractor shall provide all labor, personnel, equipment, supplies, materials, tools, transportation, licenses, and/or permits, and insurance necessary to maintain a USAI SAV III Vessel equipped with two (2) Evinrude E300XU/E300XCU Two-Stroke outboard motors owned and operated by the CHP. Contractor shall also provide all labor, personnel, equipment, supplies, materials, tools, transportation, licenses, and/or permits, and insurance necessary to maintain the aluminum constructed vessel, vessel components and transportation trailers. The term “maintain” shall include service, paint, repair, replace, troubleshoot and provide new items, for the outboard motor, vessel, vessel components and transportation trailers. All certificates, licenses, and permits shall be current and in effect throughout the term of this agreement, and readily available for inspection by CHP.C. For normal routine services, the CHP WRAPP supervisor or the designated maintenance officer shall contact the Contractor and schedule an appointment to complete the necessary service work. Contractor shall make every effort to complete the work in a timely manner and shall provide an estimated time of completion. If an unforeseen problem arises, which will delay the time of completion, the Contractor shall notify the WRAPP Supervisor or designated maintenance officer and advise the nature of the problem and provide an updated estimated time of completion.D. Contractor agrees that in cases other than routine service or maintenance, emergency repairs shall be given priority in order to minimize the down time of an effected vessel. Contractor agrees to assign a mechanic and begin work within one (1) hour of arrival.E. For all work other than scheduled maintenance, Contractor shall provide a written estimate of labor, parts, and time required to complete the specified maintenance and/or repairs. No work shall be done or parts supplied in excess of, or different from, the original written estimate without a prior verbal or written approval from the WRAPP Supervisor or the Special Services Commander (SSC). Should Contractor continue to work without the additional required authorization, CHP is released from any and all obligation to pay any amount exceeding the original estimate.
