Specifications include, but are not limited to: The improvements consist of furnishing all labor and materials for construction of a divided highway including: clearing and grubbing; excavation, hauling and placing embankment for roadway construction P.C.C. roadway pavement and shoulders; P.C.C./asphalt ramps; asphalt side roads; toll facilities; intelligent transportation systems including CVISN and WIM; drainage improvements; stormwater management facilities; guardrail; fencing; archeology resource protection areas; erosion and sediment controls; signing; lighting; pavement markings; traffic signal work; landscaping; mechanically stabilized earth retaining walls; reinforced concrete bridges with prestressed reinforced concrete girders; furnishing and installing piles; maintenance of traffic; utility relocations; and other incidental construction in accordance with the location, notes and details shown on the plans and as directed by the engineer.
