Specifications include, but are not limited to:Detailed Specifications: Must be USDA-approved Process Verified Programs and provide documentation. Shall verify the age and source of permitted cattle producers, backgrounders, and feed yard operators. Verify cattle and documentation procedures of age and source cattle, ensuring proper protocols are followed. Ensure the security of the participating producers, verified data shall be stored in a private data sharing network established by the offeror. Audible records shall be accessible and convenient for the state. Procedures and protocols for the verification of animals shall follow under the guidelines established by brokers in their USDA-approved process verified program. Cattle must be individually identified by a unique and tamper-free tag. Information must be obtained through an Electric Identification (EID) or Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag. Tags must be an “840” or “950” model and recognized by the USDA as an official animal identification tag. The tag shall be tamperproof and must be ISO compliant. Must include cost for program compliant tags on a per-head basis that meets requirements set-forth by the USDA-approved PVP program.
