Specifications include, but are not limited to:LSF3 facility will be used for remote storage of library materials and consist of approximately 12,500 gross square feet of building to be connected to the existing Library Storage Facility (LSF2) located on the J. J. Pickle Research Campus (PRC). The building will provide digitizing and high density storage with retrieval system capabilities. The existing LSF2 is a shared facility between UT Libraries, Texas A&M University Libraries, the Briscoe Center for American History, the Harry Ransom Center, and the Jamail Center for Legal Research and its facilities are filled to capacity. The new LSF3 will be a warehouse style building with tilt-up insulated concrete wall panels, a superflat concrete floor slab and asphalt-based roof.
