Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1.1 Project “A”: Fashion Design Building, 3601 Fannin Street The Contractor shall be required to a.) Complete the project between May 16th and August 13th 2020; b.) Cover and protect all finishes, furniture, and user equipment, i.e. copiers and other business equipment to protect from construction debris; c.) Remove ceiling grid and tile. All devices and ceiling tile needs to be set aside for future use. 2.1.2 Disposal and Recycling The Contractor shall be required to remove, recycle and dispose of properly the existing; (Ref. Section 1.5) a.) Seven (7) rooftop units along with all associated condensate piping, ductwork, and hangers; b.) Fan coils; c.) Cap roof curbs as shown on the construction drawings; d.) Remove existing condensing units (12) along with associated refrigerant piping; e.) Remove all electrical disconnects with associated conduit and wire back to last active junction box. 2.1.3 The Contractor shall be required to provide and install; a.) New ductwork; b.) Eleven (11) variable air volumes; c.) Seventeen (17) fan powered boxes; d.) Seven (7) air handling units (AHU); e.) Two (2) chillers; f.) Two (2) chilled water pumps; g.) All associated equipment with associated piping and conduit wiring; h.) Make electrical connections to all new units including the control panel for the building BAS system. i.) Once all ductwork and equipment has been installed, install all ceiling devices, make final connections as needed, seal all penetrations, replace the ceiling grid, and ceiling tile; j.) Touch up finishes if needed and do a final clean of the building to ensure it is ready for use. Install new controls using (Schneider Electric Ecostuxture system) and k.) Remove and replace the one (1) existing water heater. 2.1.4 New Equipment List - Fashion Design Building, 3601 Fannin Street VAV = Variable Air volume CV = Constant Air volume
