Specifications include, but are not limited to: Requesting proposals for one entity to establish and operate a 10-bed facility, 5-beds for Transitional Living and 5-beds for Crisis Residential Unit, in Minot, North Dakota, for adult clients diagnosed with a serious and persistent mental illness or a dual diagnosis (serious and persistent mental illness and chemical dependency). Vendor shall provide TL residential and CRU services for clients with serious and persistent mental health issues or who have a dual diagnosis (serious and persistent mental illness and chemical dependency). Vendor shall provide monitoring of medication regimens; maintenance of daily living skills; social and leisure activities; educational and vocational services; and other services to facilitate transition to less restrictive and costly levels of care. These individuals will be referred for services by State. Vendor’s staff handling medication must be medication certified to ensure that they are administering medications safely and properly in accordance to the prescription, State policy, and state law. Vendor shall establish and maintain the necessary facility within the city limits of Minot, North Dakota. The facility must be a pleasant, safe, healthy environment and meet all applicable local codes relating to building structure, health, and safety. Vendor shall accept all referrals from State and will provide a safe, structured TL residential environment for up to a maximum of 10 participants at any one time.
