Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide all labor, materials, equipment, traffic control and incidentals necessary to crack seal 19.04 miles of road on route S-284. Average roadway width is 27 feet. Cracks shall be routed and sealed per the special provisions. Existing crack seal material that is not pliable, detached from the plant mix surfacing, or is deteriorated must be routed, removed, and replaced. Existing crack seal material that is pliable and still attached to plant mix surfacing may require a thin crack seal treatment placed over the existing crack seal. The Project Manager or designee will determine if existing crack seal requires removal or thin crack seal treatment. A squeegee or cup on the wand, approved by the Maintenance Chief, must be used to seal all longitudinal cracks
