Specifications include, but are not limited to: Operate the spill gate to maintain reservoir level between spillway crest and 1-foot below spillway crest. Each month measure, record on provided data sheets and submit data to Department of Natural Resources (DNRC) and FWP for the following: dam monitoring wells, spill gate opening, reservoir elevation, Wyman drain field wells and Wyman manholes. The operator will pick the day of the month or at least the week of the month that works best for them to do the monitoring. This day or week will need to stay consistent each month. The results will be e-mailed to FWP liaison on the day of monitoring. If e-mail is not an option, the operator can send the results via mail (USPS) as soon as possible after the monitoring is done. Notify the DNRC and FWP of unusual occurrences such as impending floods, high water levels, low water levels, earthquakes, slumping surfaces, sinkholes, damage to facilities or excessive seepage. Notify the DNRC & FWP when spring runoff flows have peaked. Monitor the weather through local forecasts and National Weather Service as it affects water levels in the reservoir. Provide timely spill gate adjustments during significant precipitation or flood events.
