Specifications include, but are not limited to: The NDSH intends to enter into an agreement for training of 14 staff that provide services to mentally ill, addicted, and sex offender patients at the NDSH. The training focuses on reducing violence and the use of restraint and seclusion in behavioral health care. It is a train-the-trainer workshop leading to instructor certification. The training will be held on the grounds of the NDSH. The training uses the Intended Source’s existing curriculum, which is delivered by an experienced behavioral health clinician and was designed specifically for behavioral health facilities. The curriculum is based on specific evidence-based practices (person centered, prevention focused, trauma informed), which the NDSH is integrating into its’ model of care.
