Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected provider will provide technical assistance for and support to the Delaware Department of E d u c a t i o n ’ s ( D D O E ) p r o j e c t k n o w n a s t h e “ 2 1 st Century Community Learning Centers” (21 st CCLC), which: 1. Provides academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for students attending high-poverty and low-performing schools; 2. Offers students a broad array of enrichment activities that can complement their regular academic programs; 3. Helps students meet state and local student standards in core academic subjects, such as reading and math, and; 4. Offers literacy and other educational services to the families of participating children.. The initial term of this support is three years (see D.2 for further information). Services will be provided through on-site technical assistance, direct and responsive correspondence, and the planned distribution of information and resource materials.
