By implementing a uniform online payment system, businesses and citizens will be able to view bills and pay for services received from the City in a convenient and always available manner. Payees will be able to access account information 24/7, thus improving convenience and faster payments to the City. Implementing a unified payment system will allow for economies of scale as vendors are selected and costs of the system are determined. By selecting a vendor that is able to process all payment types, the cost of building multiple interfaced systems and multiple account tracking methods will be reduced.
