Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected contractor must provide all labor and materials required to install occupancy sensors to control lighting and HVAC modes in laboratories within the McGovern Medical School Building (MSB) floors 1-5 and 7. This project will allow the conservation of lighting energy as well as HVAC efficiencies by providing clear indication when the labs are unoccupied. Due to the constant changing in experiments, personnel cycles, and overall research differences, there will need to be careful owner coordination before entering each lab. Extreme care will need to be taken to not only protect equipment, but to also preserve the integrity of ongoing research. The labs will remain in use and be occupied for the duration of this project.
