Specifications include, but are not limited to: The California Highway Patrol is looking to have constructed one (1) (24’ x 60’) 1,440 nusf of modular building with one ramp entry/exit and one stairway entry/exit on the CalTrans maintenance yard located at 1187 Highway 36 in the City of Chester, CA. Buildings submitted must: 1) Be Asbestos Hazard-free upon occupancy; 2) Accommodate State plans, specs., seismic safety, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applic. codes (California Building Code & Title 24); 3) Be close to public trans.; and 4) Comply with Disab.Vet. Bus. Enterprise requirements. The State of California will, where cost effective, give preference to those buildings which demonstrate LEED or Energy Star compliance.
