Specifications include, but are not limited to: For the 2015-2016 school year, the Colonial School District is primarily focused on student attitudinal and behavioral changes as integral parts of our integrated behavior management system that tracks and modifies both targeted positive and negative student behaviors. Weekly feedback to students and parents would assist this process. The teacher's fundamental roles would be overall classroom management and instruction. The behavior specialists will serve as the "bridge" between classroom management and instruction and address the individual behavioral and emotional needs of each student using a variety of intervention strategies and proactive mechanisms to modify the behavior that impedes learning.
