Specifications include, but are not limited to: NDSCS is considering contracting for the services of a firm that can provide a complete service-oriented boiler system water treatment program. The boiler treatment program will include all chemical products, any required equipment, and professional consulting services to accomplish the following: - Reduce energy consumption through improved efficiency. The water treatment program will provide scale and corrosion treatment for steam boilers, deaerator, steam/condensate lines, and hot water loops, while maximizing efficiency and performance. This is accomplished by minimizing scale and corrosion which create deposits on heat/cooling transfer surfaces. - Minimize repair and maintenance costs associated with replacement and cleaning of equipment due to scale or corrosion activity. - Provide professional, knowledgeable, and involved sales/service personnel to ensure program success. - Accurately monitor programs results and communicate appropriate recommendations. - Thoroughly train NDSCS personnel on the program implementation, training, testing and monitoring. - Provide competitive water treatment program costs. - Emergency response
