Specifications include, but are not limited to: Scope of Work: Develop and conduct training for future parent leaders/advocates. Expectations Develop or utilize training materials for parent leadership. Provide a copy of the curriculum with the application. Define what you will teach. Why is the curriculum important? How will you teach the curriculum? Collaborate with community partners. Collaborate with individuals who have disabilities and their family members. Develop an evaluation plan that can demonstrate success, to include the number of people served and the impact of dollars spent on the project. Conduct the training. Identify and provide NDSCDD with the number of parents who have joined boards or workgroups. Parents will advocate for their children and join boards/work groups, etc.
