Specifications include, but are not limited to: It is the intent of New Castle County's Special Services to engage professional consulting services to furnish engineering, project management, and field inspections/investigations for gravity sewer system O&M planning, implementation and support. Consultant’s tasks regarding field inspections and investigations may include, but are not limited to, engineering, mapping sewers, CCTV investigations, and related cleaning (in accordance with NASSCO Pipeline Assessment and Certification Program), manhole inspections, acoustic pipe testing, CCTV video review, pipe and manhole condition assessment, and data analysis as well as identification, evaluation and implementation of new and emerging technologies. Consultant’s tasks regarding planning and implementation of O&M improvements and optimization may include, but are not limited to, engineering, planning, regulatory compliance support, operational recommendations, repair/rehabilitation recommendations and design, survey, emergency construction plan and specification preparation, trenchless rehabilitation, and construction oversight. Sewers involved in this work potentially include collection pipes, lateral pipes, trunk lines, and interceptors.
