Specifications include, but are not limited to:This project involves the relocation of one of the current PPB occupants, Document Solutions. Document Solutions provides university-wide offset printing CAM CP591358 033115 RFP-5 operations and campus mail operations. The relocation is the main driver of the critical project elements. This project component will include the following work related primarily to the vacant Montopolis Research Center (MRC) Office Building: HVAC upgrades; building envelope repairs; electrical upgrades; fire / life safety upgrades; ADA upgrades; exterior grading / drainage repairs; architectural finish upgrades; and other base level improvements to allow the entire building to be occupied. Document Solutions is expected to occupy the first floor and a portion of the second floor as part of the initial effort. Document Solutions must be relocated out of PPB no later than December 31, 2015. Building upgrades work on floors 3, 4 & 5 may proceed on a different schedule as approved by the University. 1.2.4.1.1 The estimated total project cost for the various project elements identified here is in the range of $11,000,000.00. It is expected that detailed cost estimates and value engineering will be undertaken as part of this work effort in order to identify the best values approaches that fit within University scope, schedule, and budget parameters. The professional service provider (PSP) for this project and all its various elements will be Jacobs. Jacobs has already commenced planning and evaluation work and is prepared to provide the necessary architectural and engineering services to support this effort.
