Specifications include, but are not limited to: The demolition and renovation scope will be approximately 241 GSF of the existing space in the Biomedical Research Building. This space will require the demo and removal including but not limited to existing room signs, ductwork, plumbing piping, lights, fire sprinklers, fire alarm devices, HVAC equipment, fan coils, all abandoned ductwork and electrical conduit, electrical equipment, chilled and hot water piping, electrical receptacles, all A/V devices and equipment, J-boxes, Contractor is responsible for removal of all existing electrical, mechanical and plumbing that does not meet UTSW standards and specification, electrical conduit, all wiring, all switches, and telephone as shown on the drawings. The space will require new construction of walls, ceilings, MEP systems, VAV boxes, fire sprinkler, flooring, painting, acoustical ceilings, testing and commissioning, coordination of equipment requirements with vendors and accessories, utilities for BSC, tank restraints, fire alarm controls, and HVAC controls as shown on the drawings.
