Contractor shall be responsible for providing monthly preventive maintenance and service to the existing LonWorks Software (and related hardware) that control our HVAC automation system. LonWorks (local operating network) is a networking platform specifically created to address the needs of control applications. The platform is built on a protocol created by Echelon Corporation for networking devices over media such as twisted pair, powerlines, fiber optics, and RF. Each building automation system uses SmartServer 2.2 technology to interface HVAC control equipment to Windows based applications via the Internet using IP addresses. Service will consist of programming support, diagnostics of control system, associated equipment problems, programming and/or adjusting operational trends and replacement of control system parts upon approval of TWC representative.
