Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide construction services for Fire Station # 32. The Project consists of the construction of an approximately 14,800 square foot Fire Station, with 3 apparatus bays, 1 EMS bay, living quarters, and associated site work. The building will be a single story steel structure with reinforced concrete foundation. The exterior finish materials will consist of impact resistance EIFS, masonry, metal panels, and aluminum and glass storefront windows with some operable panes. Apparatus and EMS bays consist of CMU wall construction with steel structure. Interior living quarters consist of cold formed metal framed walls and supporting steel structure. Special systems shall include, but are not limited to, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, mechanical services, interior and exterior lighting, fire protection sprinklers, fire alarm systems, security, A/V, data and communications, USDD dispatch system, and emergency power generation systems.
