Specifications include, but are not limited to: The NDOAG-CLD is in need of upgrading the balances used in the Forensic Chemistry Unit to meet the needs of its customers (ND Law Enforcement Agencies) as well as to meet the requirements of its Accrediting Body (ANSI- National Accreditation Board (ANAB)). Additionally, the NDOAG-CLD is in need of software that will interface with the balances and provide an audit trail for compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017. ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requires that the laboratory shall retain records of sampling data that forms part of the testing that is undertaken. These records shall include, where relevant: reference to the sampling method used; date and time of sampling; data to identify and describe the sample (e.g. number, amount, name); and identification of the personnel performing sampling.
